It’s a date! Spending a Saturday in Downtown Kenosha
7am – Get a good breakfast
We have some great places to grab a delicious breakfast, including Franks Diner, The Coffee Pot, and Captain Mike’s.
9am – March over to the Markets
Two great markets are happening in Downtown Kenosha every Saturday (through October), be sure to hit both the Kenosha HarborMarket and Kenosha Public Market.
Noon – Support local
Pick up a little gift for someone in your life (or maybe yourself) at one of our great shops like The Pine Blossom, Lulu Birds, and Blue House Books
2pm – Time for a treat
You are getting your steps in today, you deserve a treat. Stop by Scoops, Candy Lane Milkshakes, or Smarty Treats for a little mid-day sweet snack.
3pm – Learn something
We have a plethora of museums and art galleries in the area. It might be impossible to hit them all in one day, but stopping by Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha History Center, and Lemon Street Art Gallery are good place to start!
5pm – Dinner time
Enjoy a fantastic meal at one of the great restaurants Downtown. Enjoy mouth watering pizza at Villa d’Carlo or Kaiser’s, or ask about their specials at 1844 Table & Mash at the Stella, Wine Knot, or Sazzy B’s.
7pm – Take in a show
Catch a show at the Rhode Center for the Arts (Winnie the Pooh September 16-25 and The Addams Family October 21-November 5). Or catch a national touring comedian at the Kenosha Comedy Club every Saturday night at the Wyndham Garden Hotel.
9pm – Grab a night cap
It’s been a long day. Chill and relax with a cocktail at Tavern on Sixth, Union Park Tavern, or Swede’s.Written & edited by Jason Hedman
