Blossoming At A New Location Q&A w/ Cheryl & Gary Of The Pine Blossom

Come celebrate The Pine Blossom’s new Downtown Kenosha location at 724 58th Street, We sit down with the owners Cheryl & Gary Farrand to get all the details.
Q. You recently moved to a new location, What can you tell us about this great new location?

Well, it’s right around the corner from The Stella Hotel and Scoop’s Ice Cream Shoppe so we’re excited about that. Public Brewery is also one block away so we feel like it’s a vibrant area that just needs a good, boutique shop and that’s where we come in!

Q. What is unique about the new location?

The building itself has a lot of the same charm that our last location did so it just needed our special touches to get it ready to shine. We spent 2 months redecorating and painting inside to get it the way we like it. I really feel like people are going to appreciate it as much or better than our old place.

Q. When you decide to move, was staying in Downtown Kenosha a necessity?

Oh most definitely! Kenosha has been great to us and we feel a strong connection to the community. We’ve been through all the ups and downs together and it’s drawn the people closer.

Q. What is your favorite thing about owning a business Downtown?

Meeting new people and forging relationships with them. Also it’s nice to be close to the lake and to enjoy all the events that go on in this vibrant, downtown community.

Q. Christmas time is your favorite and busiest time of the year, are you ready for Christmas 2022?

I think everyone knows by now that I am ALWAYS ready for Christmas!

Q. Can you describe the Pine Blossom in 3 words?

My. Happy. Place.

Q. What products does the Pine Blossom provide?

We have a wide range of unique products from repurposed furniture and home decor items to clothing, jewelry, artwork, and lots of vintage goods too. It’s always changing and evolving as we come up with new ideas.

Q. How did you come up with the name The Pine Blossom?

My love of pine trees during Christmas time combined with my love of creating floral arrangements. It just seemed to fit perfectly with what I do.
Q. How would you describe the The Pine Blossom to potential customers?

The Pine Blossom is a warm, inviting place that has all the qualities you look for in a boutique shop: great products and selection, reasonable prices, friendly service, and attention to detail. We also love getting to know our customers and having fun with them while they are here.

Q. Besides the big move, what is next for The Pine Blossom?

This Spring we plan to open up our outdoor courtyard in the back for special sales of yard art and garden items, etc. The courtyard is a nice, new feature our new location has to offer. Other than that we just plan on remaining established here in downtown and meeting lots of new people as we reopen with renewed enthusiasm and joy. We can’t wait!

The Pine Blossom is NOW located at 724 58th Street
