Dinosaur Discovery Museum 5608 10th Ave. Kenosha WI 6: 30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In 1993, the world got a brand-new glimpse of dinosaurs in Steven Spielberg's brilliant imagining of Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park. Now 22 years later, the science of paleontology has opened new windows into the past and revealed some issues. Join curator Nick Wiersum in a viewing and discussion of Jurassic Park, learning what they got right, and what they got oh, so wrong! Includes tickets for beer, wine, and soda. Admission is $15.

Celebrate Our Nation At Kenosha’s Lakefront Always a wonderful day for the city, the 2016 Kenosha Civic Veterans’ Parade will be held on Sunday, July 3rd. The Kenosha Civic Veterans’ Parade has been entertaining thousands of people for more than 40 years with award-winning marching bands, floats, unique performance groups and more. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. and has a theme of “A Star Spangled Celebration.” The parade begins at 1 p.m. at 22nd Avenue and 63rd St., travels north to 60th Street before heading east to Library Park, rounds the south end of the park to Sixth Avenue and travels north to 50th Street.
