Dinosaur Discovery Museum 5608 10th Ave. Kenosha WI 6: 30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  In 1993, the world got a brand-new glimpse of dinosaurs in Steven Spielberg's brilliant imagining of Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park. Now 22 years later, the science of paleontology has opened new windows into the past and revealed some issues. Celebrate Our Nation At Kenosha’s Lakefront Always a wonderful day for the city, the 2016 Kenosha Civic Veterans’ Parade will be held on Sunday, July 3rd. The Kenosha Civic Veterans’ Parade has been entertaining thousands of people for more than 40 years with award-winning marching bands, floats, unique performance groups and more. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. and has a theme of “A Star Spangled Celebration.” The parade begins at 1 p.m. at 22nd Avenue and 63rd St., travels north to 60th Street before heading east to Library Park, rounds the south end of the park to Sixth Avenue and travels north to 50th Street. July 15: Zootopia From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a wily fox who makes her job even harder. Rated PG for some thematic elements, rude humor and action. Zootopia will take place at Nash School at dusk! (No specific time, just when it gets dark). On Sunday, July 17th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., come down to the Kenosha Public Museum and Civil War Museum grounds for the Friends of the Museum Art Fair, now in its 52nd year! In 2013, the Friends of the Museum moved this time-honored tradition from the beautiful Simmons Library Park to the spacious harbor side museum grounds located at 5500 1st Avenue. 

The Kingfish are hosting a one of a kind, unique baseball event the day before the Northwoods League All-Star Game: the Northwoods League Home Run Derby at the Harbor. Featuring the top NWL sluggers launching baseballs into lake Michigan. NWL All-Stars will be partaking in a baseball first as they participate in a home run derby on water. Gates for the Home Run Derby at the Harbor will open at 5:30 p.m. with the derby beginning at 7:30 p.m.  VIP admission: $50.  General admission: $10.
