Metalheads, heshers, and thrashers better get ready for an evening of 80’s excess with a screening of 1986’s heavy metal horror-comedy, Trick or Treat! The Wyndham Garden Hotel and Kenosha Comedy Club are especially delighted to announce that the film’s star, Marc “Skippy” Price, will be in attendance for the screening, providing live commentary.
Best known as Skippy from the beloved 80’s sitcom Family Ties, Marc is a multi-talented performer who has conquered the worlds of stand-up comedy, acting, hosting, and even writing and producing. On April 24, he brings this fast-paced and witty brand of humor to the stage, speaking about his lead role and on-set antics from the cult classic film Trick or Trick.
Trick or Treat (not to be confused with other similar titles), is perhaps the pinnacle of the ’80s rock slasher flick, born out of a spirit of mockery for the satanic panic era. Starring Marc Price as Eddie “Ragman” Weinbauer and featuring Sammi Curr with significantly spicy cameos from Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne, this flick follows teenager Eddie as he mourns the death of his favorite rock star, Sammi Curr. Little does Eddie know, he may be the only one who can stop his idol from making a sinister encore from the grave! Of course, it is Marc’s live commentary during the screening of Trick of Treat that brings this totally awesome crowd-pleaser to gory, glorious life
