You’ve heard them, you’ve seen them, you’ve danced with them. But where have these local favorites been?
In November 2022, Would You Kindly? announced their final show dates for the year with a break to follow. A strange announcement given the success of their recent album “The Aftermath” and a strong performance schedule. Playing for festivals such as Kenosha Pride, Captains + Canines, and The Taste of Wisconsin. And being a main sponsor for Make Music Day Kenosha.
They announced their hiatus out of necessity for the long-term health of their lead singer Gina Marie. In that same month, Gina Marie underwent significant oral surgeries affecting her ability to enunciate while singing. In the last four months, she has been healing beyond her doctors’ expectations and is stronger than ever.
During that interlude we also had the chance to hear violinist Megan Weaver and drummer Haven Wells in a different light. Megan was invited to perform the Nutcracker with the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, and Haven, as Miss B Haven, released her first single “Gemini”.

So what are they up to now? With much anticipation, Would You Kindly? has announced their 2023 debut at their residency Rustic Road. Marking the start of their awaited return with multiple dates already booked for the year. Rumors have it that they will be making a special announcement during this return show regarding their upcoming EP “Queen of Hearts”.
