The holidays are always very important to small businesses and to show our support we decided to find out what is going on this holiday season at Apple Holler as we sit down with manager Elyse Flannery for this exclusive holiday Q&A.
Is Apple Holler doing anything special for the holidays this year?
Yes! We have horse-drawn sleigh rides are available all winter long and are complete with a private campfire, fixings for smores, and hot chocolate or hot cider.
Our brand new holiday family show called Santa’s Christmas Show, which is available weekends until December 18th.
We also offer take home holiday meals that are offered hot and ready to eat, such as Slow-roasted Prime Rib, Apple Cider Bourbon Glazed Ham, and Slow-roasted Turkey, complete with all the fixings.
Guests can build their own gift bags and boxes within our Country Store, which make for excellent holiday gifts.
What is your overall favorite holiday memory?
When Santa visited our family Christmas party.
What is your fondest holiday memory growing up in Kenosha?
Going on my first horse-drawn sleigh ride with my family.
Where did your family shop for the holidays when you were a kid?
Kohl’s, Boston Store, and JC Penney.
What is the best holiday gift you ever received?
My favorite holiday gift is the memories that our family makes together each Christmas Day. I cherish the time we get to spend together as a family.
