The holidays are always very important to small businesses and to show our support we decided to find out what is going on this holiday season at Faded Barbershop For Men (2227 63rd Street) as we sit down with owners Tricia & Boda for this exclusive holiday Q&A.
How is Faded Barbershop for Men preparing for the holiday season?
Tricia: We are prepared for the season by having lots of openings for you to come in and enjoy a service! We want you to look as good as you feel for the holidays!
Boda: We just roll with the punches and look forward to a busy holiday season making everyone look and feel their best!
Is Faded Barbershop for Men doing anything special for the holidays this year?
Tricia: We aren’t doing anything special because we are grinches.
Boda: We are raising our prices January 1st so we are offering the option of purchasing gift cards at the current price for any amount of haircuts. Sort of like pre-paying for your cuts.
What is your overall favorite holiday memory?
Tricia: My favorite holiday memory is being surrounded by family and enjoying snowy activities as a kid, like sledding and building snowmen.
Boda: Seeing my son Liam get so excited on Christmas morning! 
What is your fondest holiday memory growing up in Kenosha?
Tricia: My fondest memory of holidays in Kenosha will actually happen this year, when we go to the ice skating rink downtown.
Where would your family shop for the holidays when you were a kid?
Tricia: I’ll always remember getting a Jack Andreas topper on our presents growing up, always something fun or special candies. My aunt Jean loved an excuse to go shop there for the holiday.
Boda: I grew up in Winthrop Harbor but my grandpa used to always go to Jack Andrea’s and get us candies for our stockings.
What is the worst holiday gift you ever received?
Tricia: The worst Christmas gift I can remember as a kid was socks, which now as an adult socks are a favorite gift.
Boda: It’s the thought that counts 🙂
Do you think you’re on Santa’s nice list or naughty list this year?
Tricia: I think I’m definitely on the nice list ☺️
Boda: Depends on who you’re asking I suppose.
