Holiday Memories w/ Cheryl of The Pine Blossom

The holidays are always very important to small businesses and to show our support we decided to find out what is going on this holiday season at The Pine Blossom (724 58th Street) as we sit down with owner Cheryl Farrand for this exclusive holiday Q&A.

How is The Pine Blossom prepared for the holiday season?
We are decked out and ready as always!  Our Christmas decorations go up super early every year.

Is The Pine Blossom doing anything special for the holidays this year?
Yes, we had our yearly party on November 19th and it was a huge success with a hot cocoa bar, free raffles and a special appearance by Santa Claus! We will also be having a big holiday sale with huge mark downs on holiday decor & selected furniture items starting the week of December 8th.

What is your overall favorite holiday memory?
Too many to mention but probably the best was getting engaged on Christmas Eve in 2009.

What is your fondest Kenosha holiday memory?
At our first house in Kenosha, when we won an award for best decorated house for Christmas.

What is the best holiday gift you ever received?
Getting the news that all our beloved family members could join us for Christmas.

What is the worst holiday gift you ever received?
When Covid prevented us from having our usual holiday gatherings in 2020.

Do you think you’re on Santa’s nice list or naughty list this year?
Probably nice. One can always hope.
