Summertime comes with a list of fun things to do in the Kenosha area. (If you need help finding fun, just talk to our friends at Visit  Kenosha!) Sometimes there are so many fun things to do,  we can feel crunched for time.

At Kenosha Public Market, they want to help make your Saturday morning shopping as stress-free as possible, which is why they give you several ways to experience this community market. Which shopping profile fits you this week?

THE TRADITIONAL SHOPPERS:

You’re the market-goer who has their reusable tote bags or market baskets lined up and ready to fill to the brim each Saturday. You  like to browse and talk to vendors, many of whom you know by name.  As you scope out each stall, you find new and exciting items, but  always grab your favorites.

THE GRAB AND GOS:

You know where to park. You know your route. And you know  what you came for. You are in-and-out with your regular weekly stash bright and early. You’re a regular.

THE FOODIES:

You can be found milling around the food court trying everything from donuts to eggrolls, and whatever else you can get your hands on. You wander to the main market aisles to find fixings for dinners, snacks, and flowers to bring home, but your mission is food to fuel you for your day of adventures.

TO-GO TROOP:

You are among the many who find their weekends jam-packed with fun things, someone who doesn’t want to walk around the market, or someone who just wants to be able to get your favorite items before they sell out. You scour the website and order via KPM2GO and use the  convenient pick-up station or curb-side service to secure your order.

However you experience the market, The Kenosha Public Market offers the freshest produce, artisan baked goods, locally raised proteins, and other specialty items. You’ll find a wonderful site with plenty of space to spread out, meander the many vendors goods, and enjoy breakfast or lunch with live music in Veterans Memorial Park. When you shop at Kenosha Public Market, you are supporting small, locally owned businesses. Ask any one of the volunteers or vendors about  products if you have questions – they are all happy to help. Oh, and don’t forget, SNAP Food Share is accepted at approved vendors – be sure to  inquire about the matching funds program.

We encourage you to explore the lakefront, Downtown Kenosha, and the rest of our beautiful community while here, too.  There is so much to enjoy this summer.  See you at the Kenosha Public Market every Saturday, 9am – 2:30pm, at 625 52nd Street

Plentiful free parking located directly across the street to the west in the grassy field. Enter on Seventh Ave or 53rd Street.
