“We’re excited to offer the robust all-around experience for the community that Kenoshans and our neighbors near and far have enjoyed for nearly 20 years. We’re adding new vendors every week, so there is always something original to discover at Kenosha’s Original HarborMarket.”
– HarborMarket Executive Director Andrea Forgianni.

Fresh produce, artisan baked goods, arts and crafts treasures highlight city’s first European-style market experience.

It’s tempting to say Kenosha’s Original HarborMarket has come back with a bang in 2021. But keeping in the spirit of some of its most popular fare, you might want to say it’s come back with a bloom and a blossom instead.

Shoppers are once again able to find the freshest regional produce, including favorites such as berries and other fruits and vegetables, Mirai sweet corn, fresh flower bouquets and plants (vegetables, herbs, shrubs, flowers and more). Artisan baked good vendors are selling pastries, breads, pies, tarts, cookies and more.

After missing the market in 2020 due to pandemic restrictions, arts and crafts vendors have roared back more eclectic than ever, including local galleries, crafters and painters. If you are looking for a unique gift – jewelry, artwork, clothing, accessories or decorative items – the Market is a shopping paradise.

In addition, the prepared-food vendor lineup includes some established favorites as well as some new faces, so we recommend customers come with an appetite and a plan to take food home for dinner.

Making a welcome return this year has been music and entertainment. Musicians perform on two stages –
at 2nd Avenue and Place de Douai — all season long. Additional special entertainment and community events are scheduled throughout the season.

Kenosha’s Original HarborMarket was named one of “13 Farmers’ Markets Worth Traveling For in 2017” by Bon Appetit Magazine. HarborMarket was also named a Governor’s Tourism Award Nominee. And, perhaps most important, it is a favorite in its own backyard, having been named the 2019 and 2020 Best of Kenosha Awards recipient.

As in the past two decades, the original HarborMarket can be found at its usual spot: Second Ave, between 54th and 56th streets, and on Place de Douai. It is surrounded by green space, Lake Michigan, and the museums, with easy access to the walking path, marina and streetcar transportation.

HarborMarket is open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through October 30.
