One day it suddenly became the start of summer in Downtown Kenosha as the calendar somehow became June.
We’ve all heard the “things are returning to normal” saying enough times to last a lifetime, but this first weekend of June really looked and felt how things are supposed to be Downtown. Temperatures were blazing into the 90’s,both the Public Market and HarborMarket were packed with eager shoppers, classic muscle cars were all waxed up cruising the streets along with a ton of people walking by the always perfect Lake Michigan Harbor; it was truly a day to take in everything we have to offer.
Also, just about all the restaurants have hauled their tables outside and they were all packed including The Tavern on Sixth (5712 6th Ave), which Trecroci Realty represented the sale on the seller’s side early last year. They’ve done such an amazing job inside and out renovating an already great building into a real gem of Downtown. It’s always very satisfying to see an empty building get a new lease on life!
Another building that we closed on and breathed new life into is 5710 5th Ave, which had been mostly empty for several years. It’s currently being renovated into a luxury loft private residence on the upper level and will make for an amazing home to the new owners!
Finally in May, The Flower Shop Building (5913 6th Ave A) was also sold to new buyers who have a lot of exciting things in store for that historic building, so stay tuned.
